This process is called Lime Slaking. It features an excess of water in comparison with lime hydration. The lime and water feeding rate may vary from 1:3 to 1:7 in lime slaking. Baumé scale of output lime milk is at approx. 13 to 29 and lime milk density at 1.1g/L to 1.25g/L.
