Impact mill uses high speed rotating hammers to crush the materials and then separated by an integrated air classifier on top of the mill. Acceptable powder is collected by the cyclone and pulse bag filter. Oversized powder fall back to hammer impacting area until it reaches the fineness that can be drawn away by the draft fan.

This mill can be used in production of ultrafine powder of most materials, especially in areas where other mills are not applicable due to consideration of iron contamination. In most cases, it can replace ceramic ball mill.
