Sand dryer

Sand Dryer is basically a triple-pass rotary dryer with modifications made to suit the properties of sand. Wet sand usually contains 8-12% moisture after proper draining and has good flowability, thus the dryer is designed much shorter than average dryers and is constructed with wear resistant alloy steel in view of the abrasiveness of sand.

Sand Dryer is basically a triple-pass rotary dryer with modifications made to suit the properties of sand. Our factory has been making rotary dryers for drying sand since 1950s. Back then only single-pass rotary dryers were available for all drying processes. As entering 21st century, all industries facing more and more environmental challenges and higher demand for energy efficiency. Our factory started to R &D Triple-pass Rotary Sand Dryers in 2002, which now has basically replaced conventional single-pass rotary dryer in sand drying plants.
